Does that thing have portal axles, too? What a monster--I wonder what the owner uses it for.

It was a while ago, but i don't think it had portal axles, I may be wrong... My first thought when I saw that bumper was that it's gotta weigh as much as my xj. You can see the big *** fuel tank behind my right arm, and there was a matching one on the other side. I'd hate to be paying for the fuel in that beast.... what the guy used it for is beyond me. It just doesn't seem practical for anything industrial that I can think of (mining, forestry, oil/gas etc...)

As a person who has to make hard financial decisions on a somewhat regular basis in order to pay rent and to afford to eat, that was simply depressing to look at. Only practical purpose I can imagine for that thing is towing, but a lot of those custom jobs obviously rule that out as the cap on the one posted. Simply beastly.

I agree. Most of the stuff I can imagine towing with those things could be adequately towed with a 1 ton pickup or smaller. Seems like that sort of vehicle is un-necessary, but as with many vehicles in this thread, to each their own! I suppose the owners love them, and obviously they have the $$, so what the heck. If nothing else it gives us something to laugh at

When I worked at dps we had a guy with one cone in so we could reattach mudflaps (his last ones broke at the bracket)... When a six and a half tall guy keeps a ladder in the back just to open his topper.... That just too damn big
