I meet the guy who built that jeep. HE told me to get it to run right he had to mount the motor mounts upside down to drop the engine and get the drive line angle. I thought that was pretty bad @ss ... a lot of mods.
Does he use the trans tunnel as an armrest? I don't know how you could even fit an axle with an engine and tranny in there.
I'm not saying we should kill stupid people... Just get rid of all the warning labels...
If you find my comments to "infer" something, they don't. Go to hell.
Built Not Bought #666
This is a real concept called the 1990 Jeep Cherokee Freedom (yes, there was later a trim package on the 01 called "Freedom," but this is obviously totally different). Similar but not exactly the same as a 1986 Jeep Targa (pictured below). I think it would have been awesome. Yes, less utility, but how sweet would a 4wd convertible be? Best beach cruiser ever.
A car-like convertible of course, and an affordable one at that (regarding the relative comfort and affordability of the XJ in its day compared to YJs and TJs). I'm disappointed that I even had to either explain that or be thought a fool.
