I wish I could find the one with the cragslist ad of a guy selling a gc with like 49 or bigger tires. He said he didn't know why he got pulled over for trying to drive it on the road...

thought id mass contribute today before doing some work on the xj... first the awesome, then to the huh??? and the unfortunate....

this is one of my favorite libertys ive seen yet... nice work

This is a real concept called the 1990 Jeep Cherokee Freedom (yes, there was later a trim package on the 01 called "Freedom," but this is obviously totally different). Similar but not exactly the same as a 1986 Jeep Targa (pictured below). I think it would have been awesome. Yes, less utility, but how sweet would a 4wd convertible be? Best beach cruiser ever.

I meet the guy who built that jeep. HE told me to get it to run right he had to mount the motor mounts upside down to drop the engine and get the drive line angle. I thought that was pretty bad @ss ... a lot of mods.
