leaf clips

i had a lift put on about amonth ago and i started to hear a loud metal to metal sound. lastnight i put in the air to change the oil and all my clips that hold the leafs together are broke. there just thin cheap clips i was wondering what some of yall might use? i run 35" tires so i was told that i might be wraping the springs. not sure on that becuase they should have held.

Many auto parts stores and any spring and suspension shop will have leaf spring clips. They are also called rebound clips. You can find them on-line also. Print out the picture in case the counterman is a little "slow".

Good call. I need to start doing that. I nearly went to blows with some NAPA Counter Jockey trying to explain I needed Control Arm Bushings to him...

FYI........NAPA calls them..."Chasis Isolators"
