Larger mirrors to compensate for blocked windows

I'm searching around for options to replace the stock '96 side mirrors. The problem is all my rear windows will be blocked by reflectix, and I'd like some bigger side mirrors to compensate for lack of visibility. Manual mirrors are fine, as I don't like power stuff.

I've found a few threads:

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f177/xj-mirrors-645422/

And I've considered that some big ol' van mirrors might work.

But figured I'd ask: any ideas or photos of mods to share?

I've got 3% tint on those windows, so it's hard to notice anything.

But I checked. General rules: https://www.dmv.ca.gov/pubs/vctop/d12/vc26708.htm

This is the exemption:

(b) This section does not apply to any of the following:

(8) The rear window or windows, if the motor vehicle is equipped with outside mirrors on both the left- and righthand sides of the vehicle that are so located as to reflect to the driver a view of the highway through each mirror for a distance of at least 200 feet to the rear of the vehicle.
