I got to play some yesterday on a MX track at my buddy Ray's place. There's still grass hanging out of my transfer case skid.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this earlier but I just bought a house so somewhere around the end of next month I won't have to go to my parents' place to work on my crap. My garage is only 16x20 but it's mine! It's sort of a cool story. This was my grandma's place until she died in 98. It was sold by the family in 99. I found it for sale a couple weeks ago. I've got a couple inspections and an appraisal going off this week. We're set to close April 27. I'm stoked!

The front one is a little tweaked but I don't think it's anything I can't fix.
What junkyard around here did you find that stuff in?! Theres never anything here from what I find... hey and are you doing the Starr Motors Off Road day May 15?

It'll be an antique in a couple years. It's paid for, new engine, new trans, new tires, new interior. I've got a 14-bolt FF waiting to get stuffed with new gears and installed. I've got a $500 gift certificate to get the cancer on the driver's door fixed. I wouldn't ever part with it at this point. It will be around long after the XJ is gone. And still getting 8 mpg.

I got them from Pick and Pull out by Oceana. The transfer skid I made work but I sold the front skid. I'll make you a deal on the gas tank skid if you need it. One of my buddies is getting married May 15 so I doubt I'll make it to the wheeling day. People really should check MY calendar before they plan this stuff!

looks cool and you will like being the house on your own. and as long as you can move around the truck the space is big enough to work.

Nothing new. It's throwing codes and I don't feel like working on it. I miss having AC but I'm back in my big Silverado for now.

I dropped it off for my dad to fool with when he has the time. Until then, I'm riding on 4" of lift, trimmed fenders and 35s getting 8 mpg and wondering whether or not I should just get the XJ running, sell it and put air conditioning and the 3/4-ton axles I already have in the truck while forgetting all about the Jeep.
