There's some different machining and 4 holes to allow for the coil rail to be mounted but other than that the head is pretty much the same.

I've noticed a lot of people running into issues with limp mode, CMS and CPS issues in the past week. Mines doing it as well. Hmph.

Hey Kevin, I am a Kevin too! I just read through your whole thread. I had read through part of it before. It was actually your build that I referenced when I trimmed my bumper caps up front.

I agree with everyone in that your attention to detail and your unique ideas are very helpful to a lot of us on here.

I terminated the contract for Kevin108.com where I had all my pictures hosted so at some point, they'll all quit working. I'm not going to fix them but if you need the pics for something specific, PM me and I'll get them back up through another channel.

*Update*

As of 4-29-14, the links for all the pics have been updated.

Noticed that as I just came back to use your snorkel build as a guide lol.

Harbor Freight ran a sale this weekend. $40 for a receiver-mounted cargo rack. No good for wheeling as it affects either your approach or departure angle severely but for road travel or beach runs, it's probably a great piece and the price is right. We used it to haul firewood this weekend. Went camping at Merchant's Millpond in NC. No wheeling or anything interesting but I snagged an up-to-date pic.

The ScanGauge still won't stay on and reading. I did some digging under the dash. There's another connector related to the bus there. It's affixed to a C-shaped mount that secures with two screws to the dash structure. I pulled the screws, brushed them up on a wire wheel, and reinstalled them. So far, zero no bus issues.

I still need to fix the blend door. Just waiting on warm, dry weather

Yesterday I wheeled for the first time since last summer! Went to the VA 4WD Association meeting in Suffolk, VA. Wheeled about 4 hours on a small but well-thought-out offroad playground. More than anything, I like to watch the stock rigs get out there and make it through the same places all the overbuilt rigs can.

The most common thing I heard was, "Your locker isn't engaged." I'm not sure if everybody has problems with selectable lockers or if there's just a lot of people who think every Jeep has factory lockers. My Aussie was flawless, as was my XJ. I took it through some far deeper mud and bigger rocks than I usually dare tackle. Nothing but good news there.

Muddy from a trail for the first time since this time last year!

Looking good man! Its always a good feeling to get back out on the trails!

I agree about the overbuilt rig thing, so many people are so concerned about slapping a big lift and tire on just to wheel trails that could be easily navigated with small tires, locker, and good line choice. Locker is the big thing, Ive got a year on my Aussie now and its the one mod I just wouldnt want to be without on the trails.

Glad to see ya back around the forums. Been awful slow around here lately, winter is about to drive everyone crazy I believe lol.

I've got some broken hangers that need to be replaced and I'm need of a custom tailpipe that fits better amongst my skid plate, receiver, and lift shackles. I'm not getting custom exhaust work attached to a rusty 14-year-old muffler, so I ordered a new Super Turbo.

The muffler is still sitting in the back seat. My Curt roof basket w/ extension is supposed to be here today. Last night I picked up a couple additional factory crossbars, a used passenger-side window motor, and a used computer to see if that fixes my no bus issues.
