KC Daylighters...Mount Me

So as a wedding gift, (yes seriously) i got a pair of KC lights. Best gift i got. Anyways, Im slowly working on the jeep and building it where i want it but its mostly stock on the body.

I dont know where i should mount the lights...
Ive seen them on the front bumper but the lights are pretty deep and with a stock bumper you dont really have much room to begin with.

Ive seen them on the hood next to the wipers..but i heard that causes a glare..

and lastly the roof, My XJ was bone stock and didnt get the rook rack option. so Any suggestions on where to mount?

Make a mount for them on the front of the bumper. That's how mine are set up, and they are easily 4 inches deep, probably more. You can kinda see what we did here, and how big the lights are. I can give you a more detailed explanation if you'd like.

well eventually i will be putting an aftermarket bumper on there when the wallet allows me to. the only thing i can think of is like an Oval shaped piece of metal that has 2 holes in each end. One the i can bolt to the bumper and the other would then extend out a little bit giving me the depth. Make sense?
I wish i could weld but i cant nor do i have access to one.

I see they have thought of everything. Perfect idea. However i just dont feel that if i am eventually getting rid of the bumper anyways that i would want to spend 75 dollars plus shipping on it when i could get an aftermarket bumper for like 200.

Is it just me or does 75 dollars seem a little steep?

I saw the second half of your title and thought "thats what she said!"

on topic, hold the up on the bumper and see how much clearance there actually is. Its a tight squeeze, but I've gotten some deep-ish lights on there

I got some better pictures of what I did. Fairly simple, but very effective.
