Just put in new seats

From a nissan Sentra Why a sentra... because they looked comfortable, and were super cheap on craigslist.

So, first the passenger seat. Super easy. A couple pieces of 1" angle, some light welding, and drill a few holes.

The drivers seat gave me a bit of trouble, since it is a power seat. Full electric front and rear height, slide, and backrest angle.

Here it is with the slider hardware removed. Im going to make it manual slide, since I keep it pretty much in one place. The other will be there, but not hooked up till I get to wiring it. The old control panel is somewhat in disrepair and needs rebuilt before I can use it. The old driver seat was busted in the back right hand side, the arm had come off the seat frame and made it lean in towards the center console. not comfortable for long drives.

Not many pics of the process, but I linked the front and back brackets on each side together, and you can see how I kept the whole shebang from catching fire. that and a spritzer bottle.

Adjustable headrests, tilting seats (came from a 2 door), adjustable lumbar and driver side adjustable width They feel 10X better than stock seats.

Looks great, but I'd take some Krylon fusion to all that red plastic.

If I was going to bother with changing the seats out I'd just go with WJ seats. They swap in pretty easily, there's a guide in the tech section sticky, and they're a lot cushier/more comfortable than Sentra seats. Sentra is a pretty low model Nissan. I work at Nissan dealership and pretty much only cheaper people buy them or companies buy them for fleet vehicles that they'll get rid of after a couple years.

I do like how much these look like they'd be stock seats though. WJ seats do look kinda jammed in there if you swap those in though.

MJ bench seats are a direct swap in as well iirc. They're just fairly hard to find.

Well around here, WJ and ZJ seats go for a much higher price. Could not find a set of cloth seats for under $200. I may still find a set for the back, and swap the bench with a 60/40 bench... but thats going to have to wait and see.

As for the plastics, that will be taken care of when I take them back out to fix the floor.

You can find the seats cheap at junkyards here luckily. Just have to make sure you give them a good cleaning.

Looks better than my hack job under my seats haha.

I put wrangler seats in mine since I have a 2 door and the seats have to fold up and it was alot more work than it looks like you had to do. Picked them up at the Jeep show here in PA for a $40 steal.

good job on makin the ride a little more comfy!
