jeeppower window isssue

Any info here will help. My driver side door control panel will operate all windows normally with the exception of the driver side window. Need some trouble shooting tips to determine if the problem is in the switch for the window or in the motor itself. Thanks folks.

Wiring issues in the doors are very common. Inspect the wire harness looking for broken wires, chafed insulation, and failed wire splices. Look inside the rubber boot also. Once you are sure the wires are all good, consider that the master switch on the drivers door has failed.

I have had this issue myself, for me it was the actual module with the switches on it. Replaced that, and all was fine

Me also.

the switch internals are open to the environment, so the contacts can get corroded. If this is your case, get some emory cloth, nail file, etc. and clean them up, rebuilding any with solder as needed.

I've had the same issue. I took mine apart and cleaned all the connections inside with a q-tip. Looked like the PO spilled a soda on it or something
