Quick question... How much did the GTS sag your rear from the extra weight? I'm kind of worried that it'll droop my rear some with the added weight...

None. I have no sag in my suspension. If your springs are in good order you should be fine.

Maybe, I put in full replacement lifted leaf packs, so I don't know. You could always do some 1" lift shackles to even it out if it was an issue.

Same here. I'm thinking it won't be an issue, especially with the extra leaf I just added.

As in full size, what size? I have a 30x9.5x15 on the same aluminum wheel (Ravine) in the trunk.

Okay so did a quick mock up with the JCR Gas Tank Skid plate:
With full tank of gas:
Front height: 19.75'
Rear height: 20.75'
With full tank of gas & JCR GTS in the rear cargo area:
Front height: 19.75'
Rear height: 20.00'

i've got the JCR GTS on my 99 XJ, and let me tell you... that thing is flipping heavy! it's as solid as it could be... I wouldn't doubt that it could weigh down an XJ with older leafs, but a quick shackle lift would even it out if needed.
Everything JCR makes is heavy and solid... they have a nice transfer case skid plate as well.

31x10.5x15 on a 15x8 steel wheel... soon to be mounted on my detours tailbone, whenever it shows up

someone really needs to do an aluminum skid package for the XJ. I would start selling off my steel right away.

There's a reason why they don't use aluminum. It dents very easily and will not hold up nearly as well as steel (getting hit with rocks wise)

Really? It looks likes Savvy's gear for the TJ/LJs are pretty stout and there aluminum.

I beg to differ, let me run and go take some pictures...
Well it wasn't as visible as I though it was. What you can't see are gouges and scratches galore. It has held up to some serious rock abuse over the past 3 years. I come down on it hard many times on a trip because I currently lack the ground clearance. It does it's job well and couldn't be happier. I haven't asked but I wonder why Savvy hasn't come out with products for XJ's or even JK's yet. Maybe they are in the pipeline.
Here is the picture I promised of my JCR XJ skid. Notice the center bolt is not present because in my case it prevents the receiver hitch from use.
