Fixed it for you.

They look good on certain darker colors but not on lighter colors.

“If it rolls, floats, flies or shoots, runs on gasoline or gunpowder, goes fast or shoots a big bullet and makes lots of noise, thus producing torque and recoil — it’s cool.”

Saw one on a maroon xj with a 3in lift in Manchester Ct few weeks ago and thought it looked nice. I can think of 10 other things I would spend the money on first though...

99 Black XJ, 31" BFG ATs, RE 3.5 SR, JK shocks w/ IRO BPE, IRO Double Shear Track-bar, IRO t-case drop, ZJ HD tie-rod, Pro-comp stabilizer, RC armor

if you actually wheel it, it'll get ripped off sooner or later, so why get one in the first place?

My 92 came with a lund moonvisor (with the lights), I think it actually looks good on there. If it weren't there I would never put one on though. It does get pretty beat up while wheeling, suprisingly its mounted on there pretty good though, just gets scratched up and likes to hold on the tree branches.

Looking at my fathers 01 xj, I think they only work on the older body style, the lines on the newer ones just don't work with the visor. Either way still not worth the cost.
