I bet I could change your mind. I wouldn't consider it "crawling". I just go "wheeling"

Started looking at the rules for 1700 class for jeepspeed, surprisingly my XJ hasn't broken any of the reqs yet.

Short arms has nothing to do with it. They can be just as capable as my 3 link, if set up properly.

Educate me, I have been looking into LAs for a while now and I found a full set never used claton on CL for 600. I thought about snatching them up. Would I be better off just going LA or throwing the coin in to my short arms? I don't want to get hung up on unnecessary crap.

I like my 3 link, but I hate how the brackets hang low. I could have been fine with a complete set of short arms. If you go short arms, get something with Currie JJ's at each end or Metalcloak duroflex bushings. I haven't ran the Metalcloaks, but I've heard good things. Try Currie or Rokmen control arms. The Clayton 3 or 4 link looks good, it uses good joints, but I don't like the passenger side tower it uses (if they still use it).

No lol. Move the mounts on the axle up. Search imped's TJ build on here. Best short arm setup on here. He runs a short arm 3 link iirc.

I can just imagine the LAs would get hung up on allot of stuff I wheel. I'll look in to this short arm set up your speaking of seems like that wouldn't hang down as low and would be perfect for what I want. I have heard allot of the currie JJs just haven't really payed enough attention to the subject. It's still my DD and I want a capable rig that will hang with the trail toys. Thanks for the info guys.
