That what I was thinking. So on that note I am tired of this lcog fad. 3 inchs lift and 33s is small not LCOG. Vent off.

Nope. I have 2 dogs myself. It sucks, but like I said, it happens all the time around the same spot. It's unfortunate, but there are so many houses through there that it's impossible to find who the dog belongs to.

I don't look at it like a "fad". I do it because it works. Like I've said, it takes just as much work if not more to make a low XJ work then to make a tall lifted XJ work.

On my new one I have a simple plan. And I'm going to keep it that way. Not to be low but be stable and well built.

yes. But thats not the direct point of the build, more like something I can wheel, DD, and not have to worry to much.

small built jeeps can be cooler than unbuilt big jeeps

He acts like its a bandwagon lol. I prefer the look of low and beefy than tall, and I hear the problems people have after going 4.5" and up, lol, no thanks. I'll stay "small" as he puts it

What problems do you speak of? I'm at 6" and no problems. And have a good balance of up travel and droop and belly clearance

I would imagine he means drive line / suspension geometry. Even if you stay low,you should still correct these issues. I didn't need an SYE because of my suspension height, but because of my transfer case being pushed up because of my cross member and causing drive line issues. As far as suspension, yes, short arms have a better geometry at lower heights.

I can't name something off the top of my head, I'm jut going off of what other people have said. I think they were referring to stuff they had to replace upgrade be auss of going higher, as well as what ibjeepin was dating about driveline and steering geometry

Steering, drivelines, brake lines, control arm angles, higher center of gravity so less stable, that kinda ****. I think low is the way to go although it's not because you don't have to deal with some of those problems. You actually end up paying more building a lower rig.

X2. I've also done much more fab work to make low work than I would've had to do to make a tall rig work.

Speaking of fab, did you make your own sliders, of so, any idea where that page is ? trying to get some together soon, less scrape and bend more slide.
