Nope. If I could get the vids off my Facebook (Anyone know how to do that? I'm computarded sometimes....) I could show you that my axles have been jumped, they have been beat on hard in dry rock, and have had some skinny pedal action a few times. I'm not worried yet, though I will go chromos or possibly RCV's in the 30 sometime, probably when these break.

Another thing, don't get skinny pedal happy at full lock, especially if you have a locker. It's a grrrrreaaaat way to shear off ears.

SOOOO we wheeled at Crozet this weekend and had a lot of fun. Beat up the rockers a lot more, so sliders are in the near future. I was trying the hard line at Pete's Demise and got to getting heavy on the skinny pedal and bouncing the front. The 30 spit a driver side u-joint which proceeded to bend up an ear on the shaft. Replaced it in half an hour and kept wheeling. I also bent the tie rod so I will be ordering steering this week. Here is da pics....

Broked

fixed

Thanks! I'm going to replace it with the Iron Rock steering. I like the heims and the fact that it is a crossover steering setup.

Lol, its the only way. Mines a trail toy/ occasional driver, so beating on it isn't a problem.

Steering should be here Thursday. Also, possibly picking up a Rusty's steering box brace.

I installed it yesterday but I need to allign it a little better. I'll get some pics up this week. With the little bit of driving I've done with it, I do like it. Feels more responsive than stock.
