Stupid update but I ordered a set of hatch struts or whatever they are called. Not having any sucks. The metal hatch is heavy! Also, I took a hammer to my bent wheel and rounded it back out. Drives smoother on the street now

im pretty sure the hatch is fiberglass. its the glass thats so heavy. when i bought mine the struts were gone and its been a pleasant simple fix

97+ is metal. And the damn things are heavy as hell to hold up with your head haha

Saw a green xj roll through suffolk heading from Chesapeake way, wouldn't have been you woul it? it was green like mine and the tires were huge and stuffed lol

Had a lot of fun wheeling at Crozet yesterday. Destroyed my header panel and I'm fairly sure I need a u-joint somewhere.

Played on the RTI ramp
