Have fun building a 3 link on 3 inches of lift! Skip that, go wheeling.

Thanks. It's cool. Everyone has an their opinion. I've drove/wheeled a few XJ's on 6-8" of lift, and I couldn't do it. Way too top heavy. My XJ doesn't get top heavy at this height, climbs are easier because my weight is more centered, and I have went where and even went better than other rigs that were taller and even on bigger tires. I scrape on rocks more, but so do buggies .

yeah when it boils down to it a rig, big or small, is only as capable as the person behind the wheel.

Sounds good. Get it together. Are you going to NACfest? I'm going to try.

Truer words have never been spoken !

I scrape my belly all the time once I go Longarm I plan on installing some polyethylene on the belly pan to help it slide over like some of the guys do on their buggys

IBJeepin95 have you consider doing this since you are low slung also ?

UMHW (I think that's right) is expensive! But it is something to look into....

It is fun! Our rocks tend to stay slick!

Built a blingin' transfercase linkage out of 7/16" heims and some threaded stock. Had to flip the lever on the xfer case, cut it in half and put a 45 degree angle on it, and then welded it back together. Shifts a hell of a lot better and actually feels like it "clicks" into 4 hi and 4 low. Doesn't feel mushy anymore...
