Had to change a shaft on some rocks this weekend. Like you said don't think your jeep is invincible

X2. Most will advise against fully welding things like frame stiffeners to the unibody. Fully welding are simply not necessary in a lot of scenarios

Completely stock, and keeping it that way...

I gotcha. Im thinking of running supports out to the bottom of the 2x6 and plating under that to make like a boat side.

I was thinking of doing this as well..but at this point why not cut a few more inches up? Like what Eric did on his? Just curious honestly..it seems about the same amount of work either way?

It's a lot more cutting doing it that way. I will add 2 or 3 legs to mine. Got the metal to do it today.

Got my frame stiffeners on yesterday. I can tell a big difference with them on. I'll get better pics later.
