And I'm worried about locking mine up with stock shafts lol

Airborne and catching traction quick kills them the fastest. Though, I'm going to start tacking the caps soon.

Yeah you get all that torque and force built up then go up in the air where it unloads without an outside force on it to suddenly grabbing and locking again **** goes boom.

Yeah, at the stub. They're easy to change. Like 15 minutes tops.

So my driver seat was dicked (broken mount) and instead of fixing it, I upgraded with a clean set of cloth ZJ seats. Wow. HUGE difference. Makes me actaully enjoy driving it again. I have the matching rear seats that I think I will try to make work. My interior definitely has fallen apart over the last 2 years and it's time to make it comfortable again.

By the way, what's the best way to fix the headliner without just half a$$ing it with pins?

Just take it out and re cover it or take it to an upholstery shop. Most upholstery shops will replace them for like $100 since they're so easy to remove.

If you do it yourself you're still looking at close to $50 or more by the time you get some spray adhesive (don't use anything but CRC headliner spray imo. it's like $7 a can and you can get it from most any dealership) and fabric. I had done mine in black denim initially and it looked awesome but I ended up yanking the whole thing out for more head room.

Mine is sagging horribly, so much so that it restricts part of my view out the back from looking in my rearview mirror haha. I honestly think Im going to just strip the fabric and foam off completely and bedline the board itself and reinstall, (after a week or so of curing). Saw a pic of one somewhere, looked like a good, cheap, utilitarian solution, plus it just looked pretty badass.
