It's independent suspension all the way around. Definitely built for racing.

No it isn't. It's merely linked in the back. But still solid rear axle

Iirc McNeil racing built that thing years and years ago and it's not solid axle in the rear. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure.

That MJ is on the Foxland motorsports page noted as one of their customers.

If you look at the large image here (http://foxlandmotorsports.com/yahoo_...7.32483202.JPG ) you can clearly see it is a solid rear axle with trailing arm suspension and coil overs.
