How much is an 8.25 worth?

Hubby found one on a cherokee at a boneyard, and wants to know if it's worth grabbing...I don't think we would use it. His jeep is a DD weekend warrior.

Depends on where you are located and how badly somebody needs/wants it. $100-150 would be a fair price. At a U-Pull-It or Pick and Pull junkyard they are about $80.

A recent Gallup public opinion poll shows the NRA, at 58% approval, has a higher approval rating than either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.

Sounds about boneyard priced right there.

If it came off a rig and it is in good condition with maybe an upgrade or two I could see it going to $300 max.

Thanks. It was on a rig that had over 320,000 on the odometer, so he thought about taking the cover off the diff to check it out, but decided it was too much trouble once it started hailing lol. The JY wants $150 for it, so he passed.

I don't know what year the xj was. I didn't get to go this time. I'm glad we passed on it then. I had him pick up some odds and ends for my F-150 instead.
