Just curious if all of you guys with high mileage have overhauled your engines yet? Haven't had to do mine, but I'm guessing at some point it's gonna be necessary. But so far it's not burning or leaking any oil, and it runs well, so I guess I will just have to keep looking for signs that it needs work.

My 98 has just over 182 miles on the original engine. The water pump was replaced when I got her 2 years ago and from the gunk that was flushed out of the cooling system today it's probably original too.

432k. Ticker stopped ticking for another 4 months of driving. I'm guessing its just at 450k all original, vin matching. I ended up pulling it for a stroker rebuild and it still ran with a decent 138-144psi across the board. Strokers pushing 178-182 if I'm remembering correct for a compression test.

No overhaul, engine is untouched. Minor oil leak, not enought to ever add oil between changes (3-3500 miles) from either valve cover or rear main I would guess. Leak seems to go away for the most part during warmer weather, worst during winter. Pressure is good, has a little bit of noise at idle, but it is an inline six so it kind of has that diesel sound (so did my Ford 300 six). No rattles or knocks on acceleration.

233,xxx on my '98. I've only had it for around 3 months but so far so good! Seems to run pretty well. No knocking or strange noises, with good strong acceleration. I have been planning on doing an overhaul at some point, but for now I'm going to keep on truckin'!

204k and its in better shape than my old 01 that had 110k lol. 4.0/AW4 is a hard combo to beat for longevity, they take more **** than White Castle's toilet.
