312k on my 89 with just oil pump issue and needed resealed. Ive seen one gettin scrapped the other day by the original owner with 484k on it. You could look clean through from side to side on the rear due to rust but the 4.0 started and ran with just a little upper end tap. The owner said he used Lucas at every change and had it sense 87.

1993 Country with 256,000. Just did a head gasket. Only replaced the alternator and starter up to this point.

44,000 original miles on my 99 xj
I have got 74k on my 99 tj low miles on a 99 do you always get looks when you tell them ?

I've am very close to 300,000 miles on mine, and in the process of replacing the head gasket now. It runs great, lots of power still and passed DEQ two years ago easily.

you couldn't have said it better straight 6 is the way to go. the only way to go! I love it. this is my first tj and i wouldn't trade it for the world.

I have 160000 on mine, and my coworker, friend has almost 300000 on his. We are delivery guys and usually run up a 1000 a week. We never have reliability issues!
