Highest mileage XJ with an I6?????
Ok i have not picked mine up yet-waiting for the weather to clear here in the N/W.-I'm trading my restored 68 El Camino (i know i'm loosing $$ don't rub it in please) and it has 168000 miles--Doubt that this is a record but was wondering how many miles w/o a rebuild is the norm??thanks Glenn

Definitely normal. Given it's had normal maintenance over the years, I wouldn't worry about it. What year is it and is it an automatic?

Had a 2WD 97 XJ as a daily. 285,000 when it left for a new owner, drove great.

on my 3rd jeep here. First one (an '87) was a 4 cylinder but made it to 300k+. My second was a '97 and sold it at ~250k, my current is a 93' and has ~165k. This last one is in good condition, I would be shocked if it crapped out before 300k.

I have a 96 with 255k on original aw4 and 4.0. Still drive it a lot. Valve train is noisy and manifold is cracked but it runs great and doesn't seem to use oil either.
