high miles on an xj?

hey everyone this proberly and stupid question and one that has been asked before but

what is high miles on an xj? how long before they need a rebuild

im looking at getting this jeep that is for sale and it has 149,000kms 92,000miles is that reall low? is it still below it's half way mark?

it's just there are plenty of other jeep xj's with even less that i could get,

yes its under its halfway mark , my xj has 250k miles and my friends has 280k both stock engines and transmissions. what year is it and have any pics?

Anything below 150k miles is low in my opinion...these 4.0's will go and go...as long as you keep oil in them....they will run.

Not unlikely at all to see 300k+

I have 250k on my 98. I just replaced the trans for one with 92k. Not because there was anything wrong with it but because I swapped it to 4wd.

Got 200K on my '99 and it runs like the proverbial "top"...
