Help with cleaning

Ok so call me a girl if you want but I'm a clean freak when it comes to my car and I love to wheel it and I can't keep the things that show under it clean does anyone have any tricks? I try to use a little clorox I guess it's ok

dawn dishwashing soap, wipe it clean, scotchbrite pad the parts that need 'roughing up' wipe with acetone, black spray paint
