Headliner

I'm going to start a side project of installing some headliner that was never in my cherokee since I had it. All be attempting to install all my speakers up there. Yes I know I can just find a speaker bar off another cherokee but I'm not.

My real question is, is this one okay to repair? All headliner fabric is off of it and what you see is spots with old glue and some with nothing.

Is it cracked anywhere? It looks alright to scrape clean and fix up.

What sort of speakers are you planning to install?

Scrape it, and brush fiberglass resin onto it. Apply it thick, it'll soak in and be nice and rigid!

Cool thanks. No it's not cracked I just wanted to make sure the glue crap will be okay on it when ready to put fabric on. Speakers I will probly make 4 molds for 6x9s and maybe 2-4 tweeters.

What's cheap that some of you have made a mold for speakers to fiberglass over? I was going to use styrofoam but it gets expensive when u add up how much u need.
