i know of someone sponsered by treadwright (If you look at tread wright ad in JP magazine he owns the teal TJ in the ad) he claims to have ridden them aired down to 15 psi for about a month with no problems

I run the 31-10.5-15 OTR on my 96, the traction is awsome. I ran them all last year at 20 psi, that is all the lower I had to go to walk through snow, mud wet rocks on the trail and wet and snow and icey pavement. As far as lasting I have about 15000 on them and still have about half of the original tread. Most of that mileage was on the highway. I have'nt been able to go wheeling since the snow melted to see how they perform with less tread. Search youtube for Evans Creek WA to see the terrain I'm talking about.

One thing I won't be cheaping out and saving money on is tires. They are the only thing that connects you to the ground/road.
