Just thought I'd let you guys know one of my lights took a direct hit and came out unscathed.

To install them, I drilled a hole in the bumper and tapped it to 1/4"x20 (or whatever). The screw was so bent it was almost impossible to remove but the light legs and housing were perfectly fine.

They are not ready yet. Looking forward to seeing them though.

Something else to mention is Hanma and Totron are 'sister companies'. If you check their site, you will see the same products as well as lens covers and such.

What's the best place to buy? I don't wanna deal with the extra crap that seems to be involved in the ordering. Aren't they on amazon?

Ebay has a lot of the same Chinese bars. Many with free shipping.

Anyone have "on" pics of the 10w LEDs? I'm looking at a 15" 10W led, but haven't seen anyone sport one of the brightest options

Forget about the 10Ws, I used them before and it aint bright, the reflectors are too large to be an efficient.

Are you talking about the single 10w led pod? I was talking about the 10W chips. My 40" was a 5W and very bright.

I mounted one very similar, except on a GMC so it's better

On the GM there are a couple of tabs with holes already in the bumper, so I just mounted the light to a piece of 1x1 tubing and bolted it in.

My only complaint, is the light is too close to the ground to really project very far. But it turns the area that my high beams light up into day time.

The 10w chips are very very bright, and are bright for flood type light, but they do not project near as might light out there as the 3w chips.

lol. It's my work truck. I'm on the highway for 98% of my miles. So I'll take the nice ride and worry about maybe needing to replace ball joints early if needed.
