To reply to others that asked about the $1000 thing

I have been placing multiple orders over a $1000. And they have been very helpful and also said that that's the minimum order. Which does not bother me cuz I have been spending more than that anyways.

They do offer amber lenses, but I do not know if it was a 100pc minimum

Final Warning

JeepForum rules do not allow for organizing group buys.
Because the subject continues to come up in this thread despite numerous warnings and even member bans, this thread is nearing the point of being closed in order to free up moderator resources for better things.

I've reopened this thread because LED lighting is riding the cutting edge of technology, just plain cool, and a great topic for discussion.
There's an inherent problem here though in that Hanma offers great pricing but deals through distributors that increase cost to end users, and jeepers are famous for working together towards common goals for the benefit of all. However for legal liability reasons, the organization of group buys can't be allowed on this forum. Feel free to take it to other venues.

Therefore this thread needs to stick to discussion of the lights themselves and not how we can work together to get them at the best price. Feel free to quote this post as needed for new arrivals to this discussion. I've copied this request into the first post of this thread as well, carry on.

Hanma prices shown here appear to be marked up compared to other sources out there. besides everyone is selling these things these days doesn't take much to find someone in most areas selling them from their garage.

I would avoid the BCS 10W/led versions. I am using the flood beam and the output is a joke. Could work better with all spot.

I scored a couple of the 6" light bars and started trying to decide how I wanted to mount them. At first I was thinking of mounting them inside the front bumper but that would have them set too far back unless I made a custom bracket to mount them far enough forward and I'd have to come up with a way to finish the edges of the hole on the uneven surface of the bumper face. I still like the idea though.

I ended up centering them on top of the bumper between the license plate and the factory end caps and notching my grille for the back of the housing.

I drilled and tapped the bumper to mount them and wired them up to the OEM fog light switch.

They put out even more light than I'd anticipated.

Just wondering what ideas the rest of you guys might have for mounting options. I'd like to add a set to the rear somewhere as well. I have a stock bumper with two grommet-mounted lights in there now.

My build thread has pics again. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f177/kevin108s-2000-xj-build-867428/
