Nice build, Haley
Is your color forestgreen? It appears much brighter than mine. Maybe an indication of a good waxing job? I also had to repair a lot of little gremlins like leaking seals and had to clean the inside. Tuff Stuff worked great for me too. Go on with that good job!!!

Thanks Deezel. Um, I'm not sure the exact color name, but I do know the green in 97 was more on the yellow side and 99 was more on the blueish side. Mine looks more like a deep grass green, 99's is more like pine needles....lol. And thanks a ton! I may end up getting a BB by spring....but i've got lots of other things to worry about before even small mods like that come along. I do need new shocks though. I think I might just get the cheap gabriel guardians from work, and that way when I get one of those RC BB's, or piece it from IRO I wont feel bad about using stock length shocks and wearing them out faster, lol.

I would also buy new shocks. You will recognize it during the winter, getting a much better road-tire contact, and of course, better braking.
Just finished today coating the underbody and preparing for the winter season. Are your LCA's already fixed? Sorry, can't give you my military discount- I'm located on the other side of the pond. I would love to have an Autozone store over here;-)

Hey, thanks for the info there Duff, and the bummer on the ability to find paint, cuz once i pop out the dent i'm gonna need some
. Deezel, the LCA isn't fixed yet, maybe tonight but it depends on if my roommate leaves work before it gets dark. He has the welder and all the tools at his dads, so I gotta wait for him. Prolly go with the cheap ones. I work at autozone so 20% off for me . Rollin, I'll get lights on the front maybe around spring. It depends on if I feel like night wheeling lol. As for now.....i need to freaking save for a new manifold. Found the infamous crack while seafoaming today. *Sigh*. I want the banks headers, but I'll probably opt for a cheaper route since money is tight and i'll probably need it before emmissions in december. Might as well throw on a flowmaster super 44 .

Whatever Nelly. LOL! Just kidding man. Gabe (ridin' around) bought the WJ exhaust. He said its sounds freaking fantastic, so when you end up getting one, i'd say go with that I had
. Thanks for the compliment though! My poor XJ is a major work in progress.

well dimonds dont dig themselves out you have to dig them meaning your rig isnt gonna be nice if its used you have to make it nice i remember mine was pretty ill on the interior also but i told the dealer to clean in while i flew out to get it or they would have to deduct some more off the tag but it looks pretty good i think for the price you paid? you would have necer found a stock form jeep like your for that price! so i still think you got a good deal even tho others may say over priced!
what else do you need to do to your rig? Haley you were supposed to hold that exhaust for ME dang it jk at least he put it to use right away!

Um well I just ordered my maxxis bighorns in 30x9.50, they will be going on thursday. Depending on how those fit, I'll do a BB at some point, but thats not a major issue. It will get a better exhaust someday. Bushwackers, IRO sliders, iceland offroad front bumper, new headliner, and anything else I come up with along the way.

I will pay $795 after mounting, balancing, stems and sales tax. They ended up being $163/tire. The warrenty is awesome though. Les Schwabs warrenties against all road hazard, so nails, rocks....one time my roommates dad ran over pieces of sheet metal that fell out of a truck in front of him and tore up all but one tire, and they got him new 32's no charge. They even came to him.

As for your cracked manifold, I had that same problem and couldnt pass safety... I ordered this one, coated it, and it seems to be pretty good quality for a darn good price.

Is it possible, just so that you can pass safety and until you can afford new headers, to put some exhaust wrap/repair around the crack as a temporary solution?
