Looks like you can also get the Maxxis Bighorns. I'd say they get my vote. Les Schwab Tire Centers - Your Performance Headquarters For Tires and Wheels

And absolutely, for sure, get the 31s!

Thats funny Kevin. I went to Schwabs after work and got a quote. The Hankooks are about $30 cheaper for all 4. The bighorns have better reviews, and I'd be out the door at $795 after mounting, balance, valve stems, and washingtons horrible sales tax. Center sipe would be $10 a tire. Not tooooo bad. 31's are a no go. I checked it out earlier and the tire guy agreed. MAJOR rubbing on turn would occur. So I'm gonna get the 30's....keep it safe I guess. When the bighorns crap out then i'll go bigger. They gotta get them from the cali warehouse though. So I'll get them thursday, along with an alignment and have them check out my popping and clunking, because I can't find the problems. Its quite funny. The tire guy thought the jeep was lifted like 3" when he first saw it at a glance because of the no flares and stance. Then I said "Nooooooo thats stock" and he looked and laughed and said "DAMN that thing is nice!" He has an 88 XJ with the bighorns, but he likes mine better

Except for the fact that it has about 4000 electrical gremlins left to deal with, I love it.

If you plan on lifting it, I'd say go with the 31"

I had the same debate. 30 or 31. Ended up with 31" BF AT's. Now, I wish I had gone with 32 MT.

Oh well.

Good deal! I really think you'll enjoy the more aggressive tread. Make sure to post pics when you get them on!

At Northwest Tire and Automotive on North Division I got 4 31x10.5 Firestone Destination Mts for my gf's XJ for $695 out the door with tax, mount, balance and an alignment. I run those tires on my ZJ and I worked at Mt Spokane last winter and didn't have a single issue getting up or down the mountain. They also wear really nicely.

Get a 2" bb they have a good shackle/spacer setup on ebay for $89 not incl. shipping, so like $100, RC brand I think. That way you won't have to wish you had the 31s... you'd have them.

edit: AH man they sold out... well you could still get some shackles for $60 and a set of spacers for $35.
