I bought it with the cut flares so I really couldn't tell ya. But Autozone has some goo gone in the paint section that's safe for paint if you haven't tried anything like that. Maybe try some bug/tar remover and rubbing compound

Because I'm a weakling girl. I tried, its not going lol. I was thinking about picking up a dent puller from work. I might get it a little cleaner doing it that way. Plus the paint is chipping at the top.....and even though I'm trying not to care about the paint I still do. However that would give me an excuse to someday paint it a gunmetal gray!

Eh dont worry about the paint. Just touch it up afterwards.

Harbor Freight has stud welders for $120. You could probably buy one and trade it for somebody to do the body work for you if you asked around.

Alright men. I found that some of my tires are rotting out, and they are less than 45%, and winters are pretty bad up here so I'm thinking of buying new tires. If so, i'm getting 31" KM2's from onlinetires.com for $600 shipped. What i'm wondering is do you think I can fit the 31x10.50's on my jeep right now with no lift? I think I can, but would like others opinions. There is about 1.5" cut out from the fenders and no flares. The rear isn't too horrible in its sagging. I'll eventually get a 2" lift for it, but I only want to buy tires once. Everyone wants WAY too much money around here for used tires on CL.

Do it! Tires are the expensive part. You can more or less fake enough lift after the fact if you need to. If you're not wheeling it this winter, for sure you can go ahead and get your 31s.

yeah, thats what i was thinking. I mean.....as horrible as it is, i can get 2" blocks from work with u-bolts for $30, and the IRO front spacers for another $30 to have over the winter (wont really be wheeling, other than maybe some snow banks lol), until spring and get something awesome like the OME kit. My wheels already have 4" BS....so i'm thinking turning sound be fine, maybe minimal rubbing?

Oh here I go being a girl. I think i'm going to get the Hankook Dynapro RT03's. I like the look, and the reviews seem ok. I want a mud tire, but with smaller lugs so they will be ok on street compact snow. I have a $1000 account at Les Schwab's with nothing charged on it. They do free mounting, balancing, and siping when you buy through them, plus they warrenty the heck out of their tires. Right now they have buy 3 get one free....makes it easy and convenient. What do you guys think?

The more I look at them the more I like em. I dunno about 30's or 31's. My boyfriend is going to throw a fit if I put 31's on stock, and even attemp to lift cheaply. Here is a review.
Hankook Dynapro MT RT03 Mud Tire Reviews
great street and snow review, and for being misty DD right now that's more important to me now than mud and rock performance!
