H2 hood vent on xj???

I'm looking at adding a H2 hood vent to my 90' xj. Any comments or thoughts? I see a lot of different xj's using different hood vents from other makes but none quite the size of this but I'm just looking for some feedback before I commit to such a huge modification. I changed my direction. I was able to get a hold of some 280z vent hoods just like 'One Built Jeep' on the thread 'what hood vents are these' I think the mod will be simpler and the look cleaner.

That would probably look cool. It might be worth finding a hood on craigslist for 30 or 40 bucks and giving yourself the opportunity to screw up once.

I don't have any measurements on hand, but I would think that the H2 vent would be HUGE on an XJ hood. I like the style idea though... other than the fact it came from a hummer

In the spring/summer 2009 4WD Catalog there is a picture of a JK with an H2 vent, maybe it's an H3 vent. Looks great. I didn't know you could purchase them separately.

i see one down side to this, XJ hoods have that depressed bodyline down the center of the hood.

I've thought about it, but then realized that I'd pay like 10% of what I paid for the jeep for a hood vent
