Ordered a Powertrax... crazy sale on eBay currently if you're interested. Started pulling Rubicon Express stuff off of the old one...

I'm thinking I'll hit the drag strip before I do the front. Merry Christmas everybody.

And before everyone starts whining about destroying the gears driving it like that, keep in mind that this is an ex postal service rig...the front tires will rarely ever be on the ground anyway. 4 point woah!

Got the front done...still need to adjust the track bar (Iron Rock adjustable RHD track bar...very cool, but their eye-to-eye estimated measurements must be based on normal left hand drive ones, because it is WAY off.)

also have to adjust the steering wheel back to straight and bleed the brakes...
and install the Bushwackers...
and bumpers...
and rock rails...
and roof rack...
and front skid...
and hitch...
and KC lights...
and stereo...

it's a start though

Here is the donor and the recipient, and a picture of why you should buy all of your vehicles in Nevada. Rust? What is that? I have used no WD40, no PB Blaster, nothing...no stubborn or stuck bolts anywhere, no fear blasting away with the air wrench in places like those rear upper shock mounts.... it's desert fresh.

I have 3 Bushwackers installed... those can be a pain! No issues, but they take forever. I think the quadratec description says it's a two hour job... no way. Per wheel, maybe. I'd rather install the lift. Bumpers are next...

Looks like you are making good progress. I like the new color better also. We don't get too much rust here, but I am still jealous of the underneath picture

Finished the flares. Cold weather and air tools is lame, by the way. Cutoff tool kept freezing up with moisture in the line. Glad that's over...OR-Fab bumpers are on deck. Oh, and stop drooling on my underbody. Wait, what?

Here's me cutting up a perfectly good Jeep with one hand and taking pictures with the other, and a teaser pic of the flares. Can't wait to get the bumpers on there!
