Good deal or not?

Looking at a 94 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4x4. Rebuilt motor has 20,000 miles. Body is good. Shifts in and out good. Body only has one small dent. It is a manual 5 speed. The guy is asking 1,500.00. I think I can get it for a 1,000.00. Mechanically very sound. What do you guys think?

Sounds very fair. Guys would be asking around 2000 for that around here, and it would be rusted out.

thanks ya'll. I ended up buying it and got it for 900.00. It is a nice little Jeep. I drove it the 60 miles back home and it did great.

You have to have a certain amount of posts, I forget how many.. maybe 50. If you upload them to photobucket or imageshack and inbox me the links, I'll post the pictures for you.

I believe at 21 posts you can do pics without a membership. I've been doing it for over a year

Shoot, at 900 bucks you could turn it into a dedicated trail buggy and not have to worry about destroying it.

You did real good if its as mechanically sound as you say.
