Finally got my tailbone installed!!

After waiting patiently I recieved my tail bone yesterday...

You can get em tilted or straight up. I opted for straight. I like it better...

Theres more pics of install in my build thread. See sig...

All in all the install couldnt have been easier. No rattles and its solid as a rock! Im pretty happy with it!

Dude, looks nice! I'd like to have one of those be my next major purchase so I can get my spare out of the rear cargo area.

Looks very good. I would like to see them make one for jerry cans and a basket for those of us who put our spares on top.

I want one... need to find one in Canada somewhere used. Too expensive to ship.

Sigh

This is on my short list of wants. I thank you for posting this, it covers a few things i wanted to see. First, I love teh straight intead of tilted tire...thats the way i wanna go, and now i know that it look sfriggin awesome. Second, I always wondered about the license plate...like your idea of just movin it over. I think I am gonna mount mine inside the spare...

Best part is, I am just gonna go pick mine up at their shop when i order mine... its only a 2 hour drive.

You know, it's weird, I've been pulled over and ticketed for having a burnt out license plate bulb, but I've been running flareless, with my 33s sticking half way out my wheel wells for 3 months, and haven't been hassled once. I probably just jinxed myself.

BTW, I love that tire carrier. I'm strongly considering getting one.

Yeah, only about an hour drive from here. I was actually just down that way myself, a couple of days ago.
And, my inspection's up this month, so I'll be trying to figure out something for a flare here soon, too. I've already trimmed way too much to put BWs on though. I'm in the process of frankenstiening my stock flares to make them work. We'll see if that passes.

Well I broke out the Dremel and cut a new hole in the plastic to the right of where the light originally was and moved the light over. Its right in the center of the plate again. Worked perfect!
