here are some pictures as off the end of sunday. my dad is going to finish the welding and smoothing while im up at school this week and we are going to come home and start on the brush guard.

So thats that. im thinking less of an angle on the next one and not bringing the plate all the way back to the flares. just ending it at the 2x2 pipe for more clearance

A little overkill with the 1/4" methinks, but otherwise looking good.

The deer here in Iowa will gladly challenge anything you(in general not you yourself) have.

Another thought. Beefing up with uni-body mounts is a good idea. Especially with all of the four legged, antlered objects running around your home town.

hence "Project overkill". i might do a little thinner on mine but i wheel mine and would hit stuff with it so input on thickness of plate would be appriciated

I might just have to so people can sleep at night just kidding. i think i will though because it will be good to learn how to do, so mine can be done a little easier and faster.

We might add one d-ring mount to be safe. But there is no where this thing would get stuck at.......maybe snow so i guess it could be helpful

Well the original intentions of this project were a nice strong bumper that would look good and be functional as well....annnnd what we birthed was a monster that belongs on a full size demo truck not a dd that goes to school and back. the overkill just kinda.....happened i guess

Nice job. I like to see home fabbed projects. Its too easy to just buy one, and it doesn't have that one of a kind touch.
