Exhaust shop price

Hey guys,
The previous owner had a Flowmaster 40 muffler welded in and I'm tired of it. I've already got a super loud car in the garage, this is my DD. Meineke quoted me $119 to weld in a new muffler that is included. Hopefully it will be quiet. Does that sound about right or should I look somewhere else?

If $119 includes a muffler than I'd say it's a good price. $119 w/o muffler is a rip off.

Thanks guys. It is on, all said and done for $135. OEM Cherokee muffler too they had sitting new in the box. Never thought I'd want to make a car quieter but I am happy!

I was gonna say the same thing.

When I bought my MJ in Vegas, it needed a new cat and muffler. Went to a little local shop and I got a cat and muffler installed for $150.

When I'm at home, I'll go to a small muffler shop. You can usually get better prices than at the chain stores.
