2x6x.25 steel tube is about 12lbs/ft. Seems like shipping would be a chunk of change. But hey at least the weight goes low in the COG scheme.

I know, I just meant don't limit yourself to local businesses. You never know what kind of deal you can find elsewhere.

We've only got two big suppliers here. One will only do full 20' pieces of whatever you order, though they will cut it for you. The other is garbage, I tried ordering DOM a couple weeks ago from them and they had no idea what the hell it was and kept telling me that there was no such thing as 1.75"x.120 pipe lol. After checking online I can get DOM from a company out of NC cheaper than I get it locally now.

In all honesty I have yet to bend my 3/16. Used it as a jack point numberous times, smashed the full weight of my jeep on them when I came off a shelf. And it will also be my expo cage point.

I'm not sure where you are located in MD but in Essex there is a place called Metal Supermarkets on Golden Ring Road. I get all of my steel from there and they have some of the best prices that I have been able to find around Baltimore.

I'm right by the Sparrows Point steel mill. Appreciate the heads up!

42s? That's what's cool around here on JKs now.

35s are basically factory. 37s are ok but you don't even stand out without 40s.

Thanks, I've heard nothing but good about these tires so I'm excited to test them.

Just have to bleed the brakes(if I can open the nuts) and I can finally test drive/shake down run. I'm really hoping driveline vibes aren't bad since I haven't had time to throw the sye in and I have a wheeling trip next weekend.
