The reasons I might sell are this:
- has had its problems, including rust, radiator, just kinda a beater in general.
- parents don't necessarily trust it, I do, it really runs fine.
- parents are willing to put money up for one in better condition as well as already lifted. I'm ok with that because I dont have the knowledge or tools to really tackle a lift. Don't have the space in the garage for two projects either.
- finding an xj that has a lot of work done would be great, but I don't want it to be finished. I am still ready to learn and spend money on my jeep. I want one that is 75 percent done. I'm going to Utah for college so I want a different xj that is more ready for moab. I've looked at one (another five speed) lifted 4.5 with 31s

I would never buy lifted EVER again. My last XJ was lifted when I bought it and it sure did seem clean and had only 75,xxx miles. After a few months it really just didn't feel the same driving a vehicle that had someone else's ideas and plans in it. All you'd need to achieve for a good DD/trail tackler is OME 2inch lift, 30s, and skids. You should read into Cliff333's build BEFORE he went to 6.5 inches. He tackled a lot at MOAB with such a moderate lift. Here's his build: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f22/p...ampage-865563/

1994 Dodge Ram 2500. 12V Cummins Turbo Diesel.

hate to break it to you but buying a lifted one and wheeling it at moab will suck a lot more money out of your wallet than what you are driving now.

i got a job in december so the cash flow is alot better now this past weekend i ordered 5 cragar d windows, 2 d rings, hitch d ring, center caps, and 2 summit 6" 100w lights. but here comes the bad news..... 3/5 rims came damaged. :

summit is sending out 3 more tonight, and they are filing a claim with ups. glad they took care of it.

You going to Univeristy of Utah? My brother is a freshmen there and its one of the schools I plan on applying to for next fall to finish up my last 2 years.

Those wheels are smashed man. I cant believe ups bent them up that badly.
