Door moldings faling off and are shrunken

What can I do? It's a 91 Cherokee and the gray vinyl pieces were taped on originally. They are now about 2" smaller so don't span all the way across the door, even if I remove and retape them. Can I get new ones? Any other ideas?

Get a 3m adhesive remover wheel and take it to the doors, lowers, ect and remove all the old tape, mold, ect. Better off removing them and taping off the lowers and bedlining them. Looks a lot cleaner and it helps with rust on the lowers a lot.

If you really want to replace them I believe Team Cherokee sells them.

Have a look through the FAQ, the answer to that and a lot of other questions you may have are in there.

I luv the way your jeep looks with the bedliner and am going to do that. It looks to be a lot of work to get that glue off...but I can't figure out how to get the black tape off. Any tricks to make it easier?

That one isn't mine, but the idea is the same.

3m sells an adhesive remover wheel that supposedly works well but I'd just hit it with wd40 and a razor blade. You should really sand down the paint and such anyway before lining it so you don't really need to worry about scratching the paint.

You could also pick up a cheap clothing steamer (I paid $25 at Target for mine) and just use it to melt the glue. Works really well for removing tint as well.

Dont waste the money on the 3m wheel just get an inch long piece of heater core hose and put it on your finger and use it like an eraser it works really well and most of us have plenty of spare hose laying around.

My jeep is being painted with the bedliner to look like the photo you posted. And I found someone to do the headliner pretty inexpensively. New tires next and I'll be good to go.
