Yeah I can't complain, the fitment issues are basically my fault, mostly the line-x's fault. The stuff is THICK. Have you seen Dirtboundoffroad's thread in the vendor section? He just introduced a trick tire carrier that bolts to this bumper that will be mine shortly. I broke about half the bolts for the flares, had to drill them out and tack weld in some more screws, that was fun. I did some more tweaking on the bumper tonight, got the flares back on and trimmed up. That side peice is still a little crooked but I'm still not done yet, the garage was just getting to cold

Some beef showed up today. Had these on my TJ and loved them. Can wait to get them installed.

Looking good. I need to look into new motor mounts. Mine seem to be ok, but I know I ran a nice beefy set on my '89 LX pony car and it was a night and day difference in just how "solid" the car felt. If it has the same difference on the Jeep I may be very interested!

If it's a good deal, don't pass it up. If they want anything close to what nice 4.0 would cost....wait and ge the 4.0.

I don't have them on yet but I think they will do just that. They gave a nice solid feel on my TJ and that was without also adding the poly trans mount like the XJ will have. They do transmit a little bit more of a vibe from the engine. But not really in a bad way, it's just a little different feel.

Soooo...it looks like it's be about 4 years since an update. (4 years have gone by holy crap)

Bottom line, it ran so good with the 4.88's and 31's, there was no way I was going to give up the power to go to 33's as originally planned. I started focusing back on my bikes and ended up selling the long arm kit.

Basically I've just been driving the wheels off this thing. The odometer reads 318,000 but it's had a dash swap to a 6cyl dash to get temp, oil pressure etc. By my math and accounting for the gears I'm saying it's got roughly 225,000-ish.

Other than a clutch, a couple sets of brakes and calipers and some other consumables it's been dead reliable. But lately the bug has been hitting me to do some mods. So in November I ordered up a dirtboundoffroad front bumper to match my rear bumper and had it Line-x'd to also match the rear.

Then I stumbled across a running driving 97 2 door auto that was in to rough a shape for me to consider a daily driving candidate so I've been stealing parts off it. Todays progress:
