Vegas if we are going to 10.5's should we take it all the way and go 9.5?

That's a nice looking XJ. The skinny tires look awesome.

I think thatīs too skinny... 285/75R16 is a great size... or 265/75R16...

Regarding the 2.5: I donīt know anything about a stroker, but one german jeep tuner used to run a lilīred TJ who won almost all national competitions - it has like 400 holes cut into it to save weight and a 2.5 with a supercharger on it with 200+horses.

He didn't exactly do it according to plan. The more I look at it....he was supposed to leave the texture out of the areas that bolt together and areas like the hitch. I haven't checked but I can't imagine it's going to be easy to get a receiver in there, some of it may have to see a grinder.

I'm seeing varying opinions on the tires. That was really just posted because Vegas and I were going back and forth on 10.5's. I'm not actually thinking about 9.5's.

Wow, that's some good looking stuff. Appreciate the link, don't see myself doing anything like that but it sure is fun to look at.

Different strokes, different folks. I like the skinnys, although I would have to draw the line at 10.5's myself.

The brand name on that hammer is cracking me up.

Did a little work today. Cut-n-fold teaser pic......

Maybe, maybe not Still need to get flares back on.

If I'm honest, I'm not 100% thrilled with how this turned out. Still love the bumper look, but as usual with an old Cherokee, nothing lines up as it should. There are provisions to bolt the side peices into the cut-n-fold portion, but I did the cut-n-fold at the body line like every online instruction tells you, mine do not line up very close. May need some sort of 1/2" spacer in there.

Also I'm questioning the Line-X, it's to thick and I had to file a little off the edge of hatch no matter how far left or right I shifted the bumper.

It even makes contact on the bottom of the hatch which I haven't fixed yet. And before you say..."your bracket is jacked up on one side"...wrong, I have that same amount of clearance on both ends, the middle is jacked up and I'm honestly thinking it's the thickness of the line-x.

Overall, I love the look, it really cleans up and sucks up the rear. most of the issues can be atributed to the Line-x thickness or me apparently cutting the body to high. There is a little part of me just feels like I cut into a pristine 2-door body for no good reason and wishes I'd purchased the non-cut-n-fold option.
