did I score? factory skid plates + tow hooks at junkyard

almost left without getting anything at the JY...

then saw this 91 cherokee sitting there with shiny tow hooks and peeked underneath and saw a skid plate for the engine and another one for the transfer case ..the gas tank one was gone (with the gas tank)

my piece of crap jeep has no tow hooks and loses an alternator if I hit a big puddle because its "felt/cardboard/rubberized felt" "belly pan" shield rotted away eons ago...

I doubt I'll ever actually need the skid plates for protection from rocks...

The drivers tow hook was sideways..at first I thought maybe that was on purpose..then looking closer I saw it had been hit and actually tore the bracket! I should be able to hammer that back to shape and weld the tear so I'm okay with that.

The other one and the skid plates are all blemish free

I got it all for $58 out the door..add in the $25 gas and $5 in junkyard coke machine visits and admission and I think I'm probably out $80...was that a deal? Could I sell these for that much if I needed to?

I'm not sure these will fit my 89 XJ so that may have to be the plan..

They also appear to be excellent templates to use for designing a winch mount...all the strong bolting points are made pretty clear..

I wouldn't pay $80 for it.
The only thing that's kinda worth anything is the gas tank skid, which is pretty thin anyways.
With that said it a better then nothing, I run the gas tank skid, tow hooks and tranny skid. They hold up better then I thought they would off road and might be worth $80 to someone.
