I'd have to say it's so close to matching I can't complain. This color gives off a different hue depending on the angle you're looking at it.

Well, it's time to put all of my mods on hold. My cooling system is screwed. I've known my radiator has a leak. The outlet for the overflow is cracked rendering the overflow useless. But now I don't know if it's my water pump, thermostat, or my head gasket.

Based on local prices, I'm looking at $460-$760 depending on the condition of the head.

What? If your rad is leaking just replace the rad.

It overheated yesterday, so I pulled over at the last store before you head out of town to where I live. Couple months back the ZJ fan clutch I was running got into my radiator. Don't know about the head gasket - but I just replaced my entire cooling system (rad, rad cap, upper/lower hoses, fan clutch, t-stat, water pump, and a fan shroud that I never had). Most the stuff I found on Amazon, the rest at O'ReillyAuto. All of it run-a-the-mill oem replacement stuff, nothing special, but it gets the job done. I even swapped in BrownDog poly mm's and I did it all for under $300 - including the coolant.

Whatever that $460-$760 includes - shop around because what you want to do can be done for a lot less.

Somehow I knew that finding this visor was gonna be a curse. It's looking like the plan will be to replace the engine, but it won't be happening for about a month from now.
I can't even get it to the shop tomorrow to get the visor put on, along with not being able to work. What a nightmare.

I've decided to go out on a limb and try doing this cheaper. The radiator is getting replaced next week. We'll see if that fixes the problem. The motor is showing no signs of suffering from a bad head gasket. It runs fine and idles the same.

yeah check your coolant for weird colors and oil in the coolant, other than that listen to JEEPN4KC post alot cheaper to start with the little things. my water pump always makes a grinding noise when it goes bad, but they are cheap and easy enough to change you might as well.

The radiator is getting done only cuz my dad has the money to do it.
My uncle is the one who offered to replace the whole engine, cuz he wants me to work for him for free to pay it off. But maybe he'd be able to get me the water pump, thermostat, and hoses.
My fan shroud is busted a little, but has been that way for years. Probably wouldn't hurt to get a new one that isn't glued together in 4 places.
One big plus, I'll be getting my heater core flushed in the process. This was the year my heater started to suck.
I'd really hate to get a new motor and have less power than I do now. This has been my experience with every engine I've ever replaced.

Would the AC condenser in front of the radiator have anything to do with the performance of the cooling system?
I don't mean it's location, I mean does it run inline with the coooling system?

Condenser has nothing to do with the engine cooling system.
