This isn't mine. I just remembered seeing it a couple days ago so I looked it up.

Thanks for the nod - that's my Jeep.

I went with the two tone because I wanted to do the bottom half with rock guard, yet keep the top side shiny.

I've only had it back for about a week or so, but I'm very happy with how it came out.

Here's a no click pic:

I was also considering a tri-tone look, but it was going to be tough to get the bottom color to come out right:

or

...aint photoshop fun...

Yeah, me too. I have a dark blue '89 XJ and have been thinking about a 2-tone paint job myself. I would love to see pics of that.

Anybody?

That is very nice of you and I sure appreciate it. I asked the family what other color to add to the blue and they came up with white, red, or yellow. I think red or yellow might be too much, I don't know, I have no artistic eye. So maybe the white would be the best. Any ideas?

I was thinking to either paint the mid-section (below door handle & above side body molding) or everything above the door handles. That would be all around including the hatch and the front clip/header.

I tried to do that using MS paint and the pictures came out pretty poor. So I am looking forward to seeing your Photoshop talents. Have a ball and tell me what you think?

Many thanks for your help .... Maz

here they are i think white would look really good not sure what combo i like better they both look good. i also took the liberty of "tinting" the windows and adding a pinstripe... makes a big difference. good luck in your choice... that is in awesome shape for an 89!

Thank you

chrisgerman1983, thank you so very much. You are a magician with Photoshop. I wish I could do that. I have PS 7 and could never figure out how to do that.

The pictures look awesome. I'll print them for my family to see what they think.

Again, thank you for your time, I truly appreciate it ........... Maz
