Slap a new front end on it, sell it, pocket the cash, get more jeep stuff

Unibody is bent on the drivers side. My plan is to rebuild motor, sell transmission, keep axles for spare parts since they are a direct match to mine, scrap the body and use that money to buy some 35's off the same guy for 200 dollars lol

Well the head gasket replacement did not fix my problem. Monday morning I found some more oil in my coolant. I went and picked up some bars leak head gasket repair. It fixes head gaskets and cracks in cylinder heads and blocks, and I've heard from a few people that it actually does work. Hopefully it will work for me. If not I will be swapping motors this weekend

I guess I'm swapping motors this weekend. Popped the radiator and there was more oil than antifreeze. I think I've tried everything else.

Yea but I got a lot out of that jeep. Besides all the spare parts I got, including the full tank of gas, I made $117.34 off this jeep so I'm happy

Well if it isn't one thing, it's another. I got about 45 min down the road on my way to work this morning and when I went to leave a red light I had no power and it started backfiring. I think it's a fuel delivery problem. Hopefully I can figure it out and get it fixed today

Bother I wish you luck man ... I have the same problem and it took me two years to get it fix ... turned out to be my PCM (ecu) .. but I changed every sensor and did a tone of engine work before it started to run well.

alright well my previous diagnosis of the fuel delivery problem was right. tried the fuel filter first, that got me no where. next up was the fuel pump. $120.00 into my savings later, my xj is running right again and I can go to work tomorrow and try to make that money back
