Crazy Exhaust Idea

So I have what seems like a good idea, but I also have been known to have some pretty dumb ones too . Where I work there's some pretty sweet Humvees with a sick exhaust setup. Now before I start drawing up plans and bending pipe, I would like to know what you guys think. I was thinking about trying to do something similar to this. Because I cannot take pics at work, here is one I found on the net.

No, it doesn't look right. Why would you want it anyway?

Honestly, because I want to do something unique with my exhaust that not most other Cherokee owners do. Maybe the stack idea was a bit extreme but I want to be creative and unconventional but not stupid looking.

I consider myself openminded, but Id rather see you hang a ricer fartcan off the back than mimic that setup.

Aesthetic opinions aside, to run that setup, the piping would need to go under the rail and then up to tuck to the body. Ground clearance will suffer, paint will suffer on that side, and you are likely to burn yourself on the damn thing. I cannot think of one positive attribute of that setup on an XJ.

Haha! Well you certainly make a good point. Considering I would never hang a fart can then I suppose I could never put a stack on it.

I'd flatten it on the trail squeezing between trees or riding over rocks.

I snickered at "you are likely to burn yourself on the damn thing"

The more I ponder it the more I think back to all the times I squeeze down ATV trails. It would definitely get ripped off.

I've seen this done before on an XJ. Guy took the exhaust up the passenger side right by the hatch, so he made a stack from where the tailpipe was going to dump anyway. There's really no other place to put it since the back doors go over the rear wheel wells.

It looked really really goofy. The XJ's comparatively sleek on the side, so this giant pipe sticking out looked extremely out of place. The slanted upper half of the body doesn't help either.

Unless youre driving an 18 wheel no vehicle should have stack exhaust. Its up there in trashiness with diamond plate. That **** only belongs on firetrucks.
