Cracks by clutch master cylinder

Ive been noticing that's its starting to get hard to put my jeep in gear, so I looked under the hood so check the fluid level. Well I noticed that the firewall is bowed out by the clutch mc and the sheet metal is cracking. Now I was thinking about welding it but there are a lot of wires there and on the inside under the dash. I was looking for input on this

90 - xj laredo- 4.5" rough country lift, 6.5" of total lift with drop brackets, zj disc brakes on c8.25, olympic winch bumper, jcr upper and lower quarter armor, IRO hack-n-tap and rock sliders and rear bumper. rugged ridge 8500lb winch. Thanks for the help guys I got 1/8" plate on the inside a bolted the master cylinder threw it, thanks again
